- Propositions B & E: Salaries, Facilities, Safety
Thank You, Voters, from the MRH Board of Education
-
The members of the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District Board of Education extend our heartfelt gratitude to the voters of our community. With overwhelming support, you have approved two crucial ballot measures that will profoundly impact our District's future.
First, your resounding endorsement of the Proposition B bond issue enables us to address critical infrastructure needs. This includes upgrading outdated mechanical systems, repairing parking lots, creating a state-of-the-art track and field facility, renovating our ECC library, and providing much-needed space with a Seed-to-Table annex classroom for MRH Elementary School. These improvements are essential to maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment for our students.
Second, your approval of wage and salary increases for our dedicated staff under Proposition E is a testament to your recognition of their hard work and commitment. This measure allows us to attract and retain exceptional educators and support staff who are the backbone of our educational community.
It is noteworthy that neither of these measures involves a net increase for taxpayers. Your forward-focused support demonstrates a shared commitment to investing in the future of our children and ensuring that our schools continue to thrive.
We are deeply grateful for your trust and confidence in us to steward your tax dollars responsibly and judiciously in pursuit of excellence in education. Together, we look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to provide every student with the best possible educational experience.
Thank you once again for your enduring support.
Warm regards,
Your MRH Board of Education
