Tracing its beginnings to 1840, the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District is the oldest district in St. Louis County. Just over two square miles in size and serving portions of the cities of Maplewood and Richmond Heights, MRH is one of the smallest districts in the area. Long-Range Facilities Study Committee Report
In the spring of 2012, the MRH Long-Range Facilities Study Committee, comprising parents, community members, administrators, teachers, and students, met to create a facilities plan for the District. The plan they developed goes through 2021.
Strategic Planning
In the summer of 2022, MRH contracted with Insight Education to begin crafting the next Strategic Plan for the District. A steering committee comprising District staff, students, parents and other stakeholders will meet throughout the school year to lay the foundation for the future of MRH schools.
