Welcome to Maplewood Richmond Heights School District!There are several reasons why MRH is a district of destination for many families throughout Maplewood and Richmond Heights. Our hard-working staff is dedicated to meeting each child’s academic, social and emotional needs in and outside of the classroom. Our School Board and District leadership are committed to providing each school with the necessary resources to ensure the success of all students using the lens of equity.
In addition to our outstanding staff and excellent academic instruction, MRH is focused on providing engaging, rigorous learning experiences to students through our metaphors which allow them to develop the skills and understandings they will need for future learning and career challenges. Within our classrooms we seek to understand, engage and support the continuous development of every student. Our instructional practices are designed to allow students to build independence and application of what is taught. We encourage and promote inquiry and individual meaning-making as we put students at the center of the learning process.
One of our greatest strengths as a district is the sense of community that radiates from each of our schools and throughout our District. Families and community members give to our schools generously in terms of their time, talent and resources. We also value close, personal relationships with the families of our students. There are many school-based opportunities that bring families into the learning experience and many others designed to bring families and staff together to create strong communities.
